Come out and enjoy the FREE festivities in downtown Raleigh this weekend at SPARKcon 2011. In it’s fifth year, SPARKcon is a grassroots festival and creative conference which aims to “ignite the creative hub of the south.”
Last year, Katie and Kaci co-founded circusSPARK hoping to unite local performers, grow the circus community and inspire alternative forms of creative expression. This year circusSPARK has relocated to the Martin Street and promises to be even bigger and better than its inaugural year.
AcroEntertainment has always known that “you don’t have to run away to the join the circus” and they will prove it this weekend at circusSPARK.
Don’t miss their FREE workshops on Saturday. Katie and Kaci will host both “Monkey Movement” and “Acro Play” classes on Saturday. Everyone is invited to participate regardless of skill level or experience.
You can also look forward to Frank Jeffrey’s hat manipulation workshop, Caroleeena’s hoop jam, Liz Robert’s aerial demos, a blazing performance by The Fire Triangle, a parade and much much more!
For more info visit the circusSPARK website and check out the schedule of events.
