Description: In collaboration with Project Kokoro and The Nippon Club of the Triangle, Flow Circus and AcroEntertainment invite you to the Kendama Kokoro Auction on Thursday, June 23rd from 7pm-9pm at the Mahler Gallery.
Kendama Kokoro is part of the Triangle’s response to the tsnumai that hit Japan on March 11th, 2011. Some of our regions top artists, including Paul Friedrich, Sarah Powers, Anna Podris, David Stoupakis, Keith Norval, Greg Clayton, and Joey Fralin, have donated their talents to support Japan and painted a kendama, a traditional Japanese skill toy. These unique kendama will be auctioned off at the Mahler during an evening of food, fun, and fundraising.
All donations are tax deductible and will be processed through Project Kokoro and the Nippon Club of the Triangle.

The incredible finale of Raleigh Wars Round 6 is upon us! Join the Game Master, his Henchmen and his many Assassins as they fight to the death to be named Raleigh’s next Ultimate Assassin.
The Assassin’s Ball is Friday, June 24th at The Union, located in the Depot next to Tuscan Blu. Doors open at 8:30pm and the party lasts until 2am. Assassins must arrive by 9:30pm or face elimination.
Assassins and guests with wristbands will enjoy gourmet sandwiches from Jimmy John’s, delectable Italian cuisine from Tuscan Blu and as much PBR as they can drink courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon. It’s free to get in and guest wristbands are only $10.
Among the drinks, dancing and death, you’ll enjoy spellbinding fire dancing, the acrobatic stylings of Acroentertainment and a live performance from Raleigh’s own Motorskills. Sudden Death starts at midnight followed by the glorious Assassin Awards Ceremony, where only one can be crowned Raleigh’s next Ultimate Assassin!
Attire is formal and masks are highly encouraged. Tell all your friends because your enemies will already be there.
