Many years ago, long after Coney was an island, a pirate was born by a couple who loved horses and the law more than birth control. Daughter of Pat and Mickey, Katie was brought into a world of tie-dye and whole wheat—arguably the two most influential forces in her life until she met (wannabe dolphin) Kaci. As it turns out pirates and dolphins are like peanut butter and jelly…crunchy and awesome. Eventually abandoning her pirate ways, Katie decided to become a real person and pursue a career as a street performer. With the support of her husband, a smooth talking circus descendant turned computer software poster-child, Katie has co-founded Acro Entertainment and since joined the board of directors for Streetlight Productions in Raleigh.
