Kaci Torres
One cold summer day in the corn fields of Indiana, Kaci escaped from the wretched womb of seƱorita Belinda Torres. However, her matricidal efforts were futile and Kaci endured 17 years of maternal dictatorship. Growing up on the Florida Coast, Kaci spent the majority of her childhood training to be a dolphin. During the early part of her youth she was reunited with vagrant artist and quasi father, Ron Torres, who inspired her to become a painter herself. At the ripe old age of 18 she abandoned the visual arts to pursue a degree in economics at North Carolina State University, where she met two very important people: a poetry engineer who encouraged her to return to the arts; and the infamous Katie Magee who tutored her in the ways of juggling, balance, and awesomeness. After many years of friendship and flipping, Kaci and Katie decided to put their bachelor’s degrees to real use; hence, the invention of “acro-entertainment.” For the past year, the two have been street performing under the pseudonyms “Kaci” and “Katie.”
