SPARKcon 2009 will kick-off this Friday in downtown Raleigh and promises to engage you in a variety of creatively inspired activities including a fashion show, poetry slam, local-film screenings, graffiti art and much more!

Kaci and Katie invite you to attend several events to be showcased at the downtown street-fair, including a mainstage performance, streetperforming, and two workshops.

• Kid’s Clowning Class @ 12:30-1:45, Sunday

Both classes are free and open to the public.   They will be held at the REP Dance Studio (213 Fayetteville St.) and require no previous experience.     We ask that you bring a positive attitude, open mind and cooperative spirit.  We recommend wearing comfortable attire.  Children are NOT to be left unattended!

After a long summer hiatus, we’ll be back on the streets of downtown Raleigh. Catch us tonight, September 4th at First Friday. You can find us on the corner of Blount and Martin, across the street from City Market. Stop by and say hello in between galleries. Come draw with chalk and enjoy our performance!
