In the Beginning there were Shoulder Stands and Crazy Dresses

Look how far we’ve come! We found some old pictures– not sure what the hell we were thinking!! This picture was taken on NC State’s campus, in the grassy knoll near the brickyard. It happens to be a great spot for slack lining, being upside down, and standing on top of each other.

Beach Performing, Not Street Performing

Last week we traveled to Wilmington, NC with photographer Enrico Leoni who took some pictures for us. We rather enjoyed practicing on the sand and look forward to another trip to the coast. Though it seems that we look just as crazy on the beach as we do on the streets.

Also, we got some new videos up from the Berkeley Cafe gig. Check out video1 and video2!

Izzy and Josh save the day

After arriving late to the Berkeley, we were convinced we missed our chance to perform; on top of that, we couldn’t find our (unofficial) photographer John Morris. Our friends Enrico and Amanda had their camera but the batteries were dead…ugh!

After two beers we were ready to peace out but right as we started packing up Izzy came out to tell us that her and Josh had worked us into the set and found a band for us to perform with (Izzy and Josh host open-mic night at the Berkeley). Then John showed up about 4 seconds later with his camera and it was on!

Check out this video of our performance. Not our best showing, I know, but it was a rough gig all around. The band we played with was great though and I’d love to give a shout out to them but I didn’t catch their name.

Open Mic Night
